New insulation of pizza ovens reduces CO2 emissions
G+H Insulation was commissioned to re-insulate three pizza ovens. G+H Engineering Services then calculated and developed an energy-saving and sustainable insulation design.
With the conventional insulation, the ovens did not reach their required core temperature even under full load with 17 burners. This resulted in excessively long throughput times. Our newly insulated ovens now reach their core temperature with a burner output of only 60% with 12 burners. This reduces the throughput times by 10 seconds per baking cycle, which results in a significant reduction in CO2.
