The G+H Insulation branch in Karlsruhe has been awarded the contract for insulation and refurbishment work in accordance with TRGS 519 (asbestos removal) at a paper mill that produces recyclable, renewable and biodegradable printing paper.

The contract includes the insulation of pipework on a 1.9 km long pipe bridge and the insulation of a container. Before the asbestos removal work begins, several bulkheads including personnel and material airlocks will be installed to ensure professional removal. The optimised insulation will sustainably reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption.

The work should be completed by May 2024.
