Highly Absorbing Room (HAR)
The High Absorption Room (HAR) is unique for its time. It is used to measure the emission spectra of test objects in the semi-free field down to extremely low frequencies according to DIN EN ISO 3745. The HAR is equipped with flat absorbers on the ceilings and walls. Its heavy-duty base plate allows heavy DUTs, such as cars, to be tested. The particularly large dimensions allow reliable measurements under free-field conditions up to a cut-off frequency of 30Hz.
