This minimises consequential damage and costs. Particularly suitable for outdoor use, it is ideal for electrical cables that cross fire walls – as is often the case with photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. Inside the trunking is a waterproof fire protection layer that foams up in the event of fire or heat and stops the oxygen supply to prevent the spread of fire along the installation lines.
